What is the process of making natural loafas?
Just like bitter gourd and bottle gourd days also one more gourd known as luffa gourd, this gourd is known for creating natural bathing loafas.
- Growth :The luffa gourd is grown in tropical and subtropical climates and allowed to mature on a wine until they are yellow or brownish, and is soon harvested after 7-8 months, for beginning the processing.
- Skin peeling: The luffa gourd is soaked in water and the outer skin is filled away and the seeds are removed.
- Shaping and Finishing:The fibrous loofah is cut, shaped, or sliced into shapes that are easy for handling. After final cutting and shaping the product we get the natural porous sponge which is easy to use for bathing.
