Our lifestyle has taken away our immunity and potential. It is widely noted that most of the corona virus survivors were the oldest generation, which makes us question. Why is young people’s immunity decreasing?
Why is young people’s immunity decreasing?
It because we are:
- More depressed
- Couch potatoes
- Urbanised
- Unhealthy eater
More depression
It will take no hidden knowledge to understand that excessive use of social media and excessively watching news channels will get you depressed because in this kind of situation surrounding yourself with negative thoughts will give a chance to increase stress hormones in your body which can make you sick.
Couch potatoes
Will not tell why we are couch potatoes because you know it. You have your own excuse to watch Netflix and do all crap instead of doing activities like gardening, cooking, cleaning, playing sports or doing yoga.
Urbanisation
If you didn’t understand why I asked to do gardening, cooking or doing yoga etc, in the previous point then you will understand better now. Urbanisation is turning villages to city. When we make a city, we cut the nature and absence of nature means taking away the natural first aid away from your body. Nature is a medicine, spending time near nature heals your doshas and keeps you away from illness.
Unhealthy eating
Eating and entertaining fast food only entertains illness. Eating pizza and ordering pasta will kill you. Pizza and pasta are made up of refined flour which has no fiber, no nutrients, and yes it creates waste in your stomach which can’t be easily discarded. Our modern diet doesn’t have ingredients that our ancestors used to have. These food items are only present in nutritional supplements.
what can we do to improve our immunity?
- Switch off your cell phone and television.
- Exercise and do household chores.
- Stay close to nature.
- Take a balanced diet
- Take health supplements
